Earth Stone Foshan Trip 2025 – Insights and Inspirations from China’s Tile Capital
From 21 to 25 October 2025, the Earth Stone team travelled to Foshan, China, for a weeklong sourcing trip following our attendance at the 43rd CeramBath exhibition. During this visit, we met with 25 suppliers, including long term partners and new prospects, to explore the latest developments in the ceramic and porcelain tile industry.
The trip provided valuable insights into emerging market trends, new design directions, and innovations in tile production. It gave us a clearer understanding of the products currently driving demand across global markets, helping us refine our strategy for upcoming collections in Singapore.
Curating Quality Through Careful Selection
Throughout our visit, we conducted a detailed tile selection process, reviewing both reorder collections and new product lines. One key observation was how similar tile designs could achieve distinct looks and textures through different printing techniques and surface finishes. This highlighted the importance of meticulous curation, ensuring that every tile Earth Stone brings into Singapore meets our standards of quality, craftsmanship, and design consistency.
Inspiration from Showroom Concepts
Beyond product sourcing, our team also explored multiple showroom concepts across Foshan. These visits offered fresh inspiration for layout, presentation, and design storytelling, providing ideas that will guide future improvements to our own Tile Gallery in Singapore.
